Project Avary

Project Avary helps children heal from the impacts of having a parent in prison. They offer a national online program with six weekly community group Zoom sessions. Here is more info about the online program:

• Participants from Canada are welcome to join, as long as the session times work for them
  • Individuals must fill out the online application (choose an American state and indicate in the notes section that the referred youth lives in Canada)
• Groups are held at least three times a year, but individuals can apply any time during the year
• Groups will include 6-10 youth participants, ages 8-18
• There is no fee for families to join
• After completing the 6-week program, youth may apply to return for subsequent sessions, or apply for the teen leadership program
